What a lovely experience. My husband and I made a last minute booking since our plans changed and Mr. Dang was really quick to respond to our request. What a great detour this was for us! The hotel has such a cool history and Dang and his family did a wonderful job restoring it to keep it's charm but also offer comfort. The room is simple, but has everything you need for a very comfortable stay (hooray for air conditioning!). We had a rental car and had no issues getting street parking or any concerns about safety. We were also very lucky to be there when the temple had their annual celebration, so we walked to this market for dinner and enjoyed some of the festivities. The hotel is centrally located and you can easily walk around to explore the other daily market, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would go to Krabi when this town offers so much more. It's a true Thai experience and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Dang for restoring such a special place in Phang Nga and sharing this with guests!

Host employs two kind Thai ladies at reception who do not speak English which is not bothersome. What is, is that host contacted me several times via receptionists cell phone to inquire about how I paid, and how much I paid for the room after paying via Airbnb. Perhaps I was his first Airbnb guest but I’m not sure why he couldn’t figure out payment details even upon my leaving and why he had to have his receptionist wake me up late night to ask me how much I’d paid and which room I’d paid for. Host also does not provide accurate address and does not advertise as Taweesuk hotel which it actually is. Other than that the receptionist was helpful and friendly and they have scooters for rent which is a bonus
