Our trip to Dillsburg was to do genealogy research and Lynne's place was perfect for this. It was nice to return at the end of the day to the lovely cottage. The steps to the bedroom on the second floor were a bit hard with the suitcases (we're both over 60) so we ended up keeping our suitcases downstairs which made it a bit crowded but we managed especially as we weren't there a lot. Everyone was very friendly (including the dogs on the property). We enjoyed our stay!

Great little place! Everything was as presented. Had a little trouble getting in (the front door was hard to open, use the side door) but other than that, check in was a breeze. There really isn’t anything we could have wanted for our stay. The place was clean and the hosts were super responsive. The grounds looked lovely and the back porch looked like a nice place to relax in warmer weather. It was a little hard to keep the temperature stable but I am attributing that more to the frigid temperature during our stairs. The only other comment is that the bedroom situation may not be ideal for anyone who has to get up to go to the bathroom a lot during the night given the steepness of the steps and pitch of the roof. Though there is a pull out couch downstairs for those that may need it. All in all though I’d say it’s a nice, cozy little place and a great value.
