I stayed at the village with my friends for 2 days and it was an unforgettable experience. The Masai hosts were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making us feel like part of their community from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed participating in cultural activities and learning about their way of life. They also took us out for the game drive in Masai Mara which is the best guidance you can get there. We highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to connect with the local culture. Thank you Sigrid, Willy and all the others in the village!

We very much will treasure the memory of staying here-definitely not all the comforts of a hotel, but probably more comfortable than a true home stay; it was amazing to see the non touristic side of masai culture such as how much/how often traditional attire is worn! We felt very well taken care of during our time. Be prepared for quite basic facilities, and simple living- a great introduction to masai life styles and a perfect level of comfort for our kids, who had a blast running around and playing with the campfire. Samson was also a very experienced game driver and guide.

It is a cool adventure to drive to the village. Though going there from the sekenani gate you need to pay the park entrance fee of 80 dollar per person for one day. From the other side coming, its the normal road without park fee but it takes min. 2 hours for 50km. Have a car with high ground clearance. Also Have a powerbank as a back up in case the solar is not 100 % working. The ladies in the village will be happy for you to join getting water, making the local jewelry or playing football with the boys. And the nights are quiet even with tented luxury camps around it. Very safe place as the community has dogs for security in the night. Thank you for your time to share your place with us

Nok et fantastisk opphold hos Sigrid! 😍 Vi storkoste oss i hytta, med maten, i møter og samtaler med folkene i landsbyen og på den flotte fjellturen! Anbefales og kan gjerne repeteres! ☺️ Another fantastic stay with Sigrid! 😍 We had a great time in the cabin, with the food, in meetings and conversations with the people in the village and on the great mountain hike! Recommended and can be repeated! ☺️
