Just do it. Steve is not only a creative person who fills his home with art and engaging objects, plus a mesmerizing koi pond. He's also a warm and welcoming host who anticipated our needs so well and was extremely gracious. The place was great to stay in, and unlike any Airbnbs these days, it's actually his home and he actually wants to host you well. Steve's recommendations for what to do in the area are worth heeding as well.

Steve is a great host, and has a wonderful place. Everywhere you look there is some interesting piece of art or photo with a story behind it. The place is very convenient to downtown Santa Rosa as well. Thoroughly recommend.

This home is in a quiet established neighborhood. Steve greeted us and gave us a tour of the house and amenities while answering any of our questions. The guest rooms feel secluded from the rest of the house. If you need peace and quiet when you sleep... reserve your room now! You’ll have everything you need for your stay plus, coffee and breakfast will be waiting for you when you wake up. We were able to walk to the restaurant for dinner and felt totally safe. But wait... what is that?! Do I hear Christmas carolers as we walk the neighborhood?? That was a very unexpected surprise!! This was our first AirBnB experience and I think Steve may have spoiled us for future stays at other homes. He is a true host who will make you feel as though you’re crashing at a friends house.

Steve is such a gracious host!! Everything was super easy! From the directions to the Airbnb, to the code to the door, to the breakfast next to the koi pond :) we had a wonderful time up in Santa Rosa area as we explored Sonoma for the weekend.
