This is like being on a private island. It's a beautiful out of the way location. The people are very nice as well.

the cottage was very cute and close to the beach! the hosts were friendly and the staff were friendly!! it was by the beach, with a dock. we saw sharks swimming right by the dock. Such a cool experience. the island is pretty small and there is not many restaurants, they also open and close when they want...so it is challenging to find restaurants at times. the house is in need of some maintenance, but I understand it's a small island and hard to get things. the mirror was missing in the bathroom, the shower faucet wasn't all the way in the wall, and the caulking around the bathtub was cracking...

Exuma Point Resort looks like it was a going concern before Covid lockdowns and might be so again. Needs to get bar & food available in afternoons and evenings as it wasn’t when we were there. The cottage we stayed in was comfortable but one bath was not functional. We went without water one evening and most of next day, which was inconveniently an island-wide issue. The location was close to boats at Barreterre, the flats of sand you can walk out on, and not far from beaches and restaurants. They also have their own beach, dock, lounge chairs and kayaks/SUPs to enjoy. We kayaked across the bay to a secluded little beach easily on a fairly windless day where we found shells and hermit crabs. There was a barking dog that awakened us several times at night, but all the dogs seem to roam free.

We really enjoyed our stay at Exuma Point! We will recommend their place to our friends and hope to be back ourselves one day! House was perfect, grounds were amazing. So peaceful!

We loved the villa and wonderful people here! This is a place to relax and get away from it all. The Blue Marlin was perfect for 2 couples. The one time we ate here the food was fresh and delicious! We loved talking to Elvis and Maryann and he made a great pina colada for us.
