Our fourth stay at this wonderful house. Beautiful gardens and very peaceful. Easy to walk into town. Can’t wait to visit again.

Incredible place which our family enjoyed during a ski holiday. The outlook is amazing with a stunning garden and river just out back. Close to town with a walking track on the doorstep. Highly recommend

This house was much nicer than the photos suggest. Its located in a quiet residential street, and the house backs on to a walking track leading into Bright and to walking trails. It was warm and cosy, thanks to the little fireplace (wood and fire-starters provided). It has a sensible layout, with the bedrooms separate from the living area. This provided privacy for our group of four friends. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy with quality linen and blankets. The house was very clean, uncluttered and had a large, well resourced kitchen, central dining table, cosy lounge area with a large tv with plenty of DVDs. One of the most enjoyable things about this house was that the large windows looked on to beautiful greenery. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thank you so much for having us to stay. We had a fabulous family holiday, with two grandparents, three of us kids & partners and two babies. The house was big enough that we were comfortable living together for 8 days even though it was rainy weather. The games cupboard was a hit. Great layout with two "sitting" areas as well as a spacious dinig room by the kitchen. We comfortably had two highchairs in use along with the 7 adult's chairs (highchairs rented from Alpine Concierge Bright). The kitchen was incredibly well equipped & well set out for many people to use at the same time with the island bench. We thouroughly appreciated the modern, quality appliances & cookware. Food processor, muffin trays, sharp knives, stovetop espresso to name a few. Large fridge & freezer. The studio apartment & master bedroom were luxurious & functional - each had a couple & a baby in a portacot (thanks again Alpine Concierge!) The bath was useful in the master bedroom for the babies. The main bathroom had a large shower with good pressure. Great to have bed linen & towels provided. One adult worked remotely in the studio for half of the stay. The wifi was absolutely adequate for this, which we had been nervous about prior, due to the warning on the listing. No issues with the wifi the entire stay. With two babies in the house we made use of the washing machine which was suprisingly quiet with the cupboard door shut. Washing line out in the GORGEOUS garden was underutilised due to the rain, but the drier helped us out. The upside of the rain was the impressive river at the bottom of the garden (Ovens River). We enjoyed daily walks along the river, to town / the playground & further. Mount Buffalo was a quick drive away, which we found endless walks at - suitable for our slow pace but plenty of scope for longer & more challenging walks. Mount Beauty was also worth visiting. The house would be just as impressive, if not more so, in drier weather, with the sliding doors opening into the large picturesque garden. There were so many thoughtful details, which we were so grateful for. Little things like containers that we could use for leftovers, baking paper, spices, a torch in the drawer, games, blankets in the lounge, a picnic blanket in the studio. Thank you so much.
