里斯本 · 整套出租单元 · 2室2床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Madressilva House: garden and Tagus
Old apartment, spacious, wooden floor and ceilings, big terrace / garden overlooking the Tagus. Situated in a quiet street in the neighborhood of Graça at the confluence of the historic districts of Alfama, Castelo and Mouraria. The apartment itself is, as we like to say here (in French), "de charme" or "plein de cachet". Summarizing: a large living room, two bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen (fully equipped), bathroom ( shower, toilet, washing machine) and a small and totally private hanging garden with, in front of you, the Tagus, the roofs of Alfama and the trees of the Castle’s garden. The sun turns around, but a big orange tree gives a good shadow.
The apartment was spacious (much bigger than it seems in the pictures) and had an amazing and beautiful garden. Everything is as described (perhaps even better!). Tiago was super friendly, easy, and fast to respond. He also provided many, many supplies for the kitchen, and bathroom (e.g. pasta, some tomato sauce, other food, shampoos, sunscreen, ...) - we did not use any of it, but some people might find it helpful. The location is fantastic and the house was spotless when we arrived. If you are wondering where to stay, book this airbnb right now!!
Tiago’s flat had everything we needed and more. Michele, Tiago’s Mom was our host and she was very friendly, kind and helpful with suggestions and to answer our many questions! Thank you Michele for everything including your delicious homemade jam and special liquor😀 Should we return, we will be staying here again! Lynn & Philip from Canada
The apartment is located in the neighborhood of Graça, a hundred meters from the Church of San Vicente, the Pantheon (where lies the famous fado including Amalia Rodrigues), the Feira da Ladra (Flea Market), San Jorge Castle, Alfama etc . Central for a lot of the Lisbon’s must-see. If you want to catch the famous number 28 tram, which follow a perfect route for sightseeing, you have three different stops nearby.
The down town (Baixa) and Chiado (the Brasileira and Pessoa), the metro, the train to Estoril Coast or to Sintra are at a walking distance. The Graça’s hill, one of the seven of Lisbon, is rich in belvederes and terraces such as the Miradoura da Graça, de Santa Luzia, da Senhora do Monte… to take the city from all angles. Graça is an old neighborhood where you can find everything you need: supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, fresh fruit and vegetable stands, fisheries, good local restaurants and even o shoe repairer, polyglot, who was in the 70 Formula One driver.
To travel from Lisbon Airport to the centre of the city it may be more comfortable to take a Taxi to Graça. It should cost from around €15-20. You can also take the metro to Alameda and catch the green line towards Martim Moniz then take the Tram number 12 and exit in Rua de São Tomé. For those who come by car or want to rent a car the street is free and easy to park. There are several public transports nearby including the famous tram 28.
