I would like to thank Jo based in Norfolk who was very kind when I explained I had the flu and was inquiring about the heating. She also referred me to Hayley (I think this was her name…(based in Sennen Cove) who called me back immediately on Xmas day to help with directions. She was also kind and warm. Thank you both.

I'm going to give my honest opinion, first the good : the views were really nice and we loved the big windows to sit in and watch the seas. That's where the good ends unfortunately. After a 6 hour journey we traversed the 80 odd steps to the apartment to be met with an apartment that really had not been cleaned well, sand all over the floor along with dog and human hairs, the sofa was also covered in the above, we opened the fridge to put our food in and what did we find? Hairs and reminece of food. We checked the bed and under the quilt and pillows, you guessed it hairs, under the bed were litterly clumps of hairs, all the window sils were covered in grime, we went to the bathroom and I wish I hadn't have checked the toilet brush holder (you don't need me to explain) I won't go on further but the only word to describe is was filthy. After over 2 hours of my partner and I cleaning I sent a message on Airbnb and vented my frustration, 2 days later I get a phonecall with an apology and an offer of a reclean which I politely declined (as we had only 3 days left and had already cleaned it) eventually they refunded us one night. Aside from the cleanliness, the quilt was a winter quilt (way to hot for the weather) the mattress is a very very hard 'simba' mattress, neither of us had a very good night's sleep. The table in the lounge is covered in what looks like children's pens which for the price is very dissapointing. There's 7 residents only spaces available to use which were always full, we luckily managed to get a space each day but if you're not lucky enough it'll cost you £9 a day in the car park In short, the views were really nice but we'd definitely not go back to this apartment, it needs a much better cleaner and some nicer touches for the price they're asking.

Had a really wonderful stay at The Lookout. Although the walk up and down really gets the blood flowing, the view more than makes up for it! It was nice and comfy, very quiet and the location couldn't be better. Would definitely stay again

Very beautiful views from the accommodation, the steps are something else but stopping to catch your breath while looking at the view is lovely. We will definitely stay again, no review can truly say how lovely it is.
