If we put aside the fact that we could not communicate properly as some things got lost in translation (literally!),us speaking very little French and Francois only very basic english(Airbnb english,as he put it),overall we had a pleasant stay. We didn’t have the feeling of a sparkling clean apartment (due to some hair-not ours- found on the floor and the sheets) but it was situated center town, with a lot to do around! Within walking distance from Gare d’Amiens and a safe apartment(though the building was old and damp, we only entered with code) I would recommend for a stay at this beautiful town. I would also recommend that the hosts of Airbnb had a basic knowledge of the world wide spoken English language. I have to thank Francois for his prompt answers to my messages.

François apartment was very handy. It was very walkable and he was a very responsive host. He gave us many local recommendations and met us at the door to show us in. We were able to check in 3 hours early which was so nice as we didn't have to carry our bags around town. The only problem we had with this place was not the fault of the hosts, the block the apartment building is located on is a little bit sketchy. The host was confident it's safe as long as you're inside by 1am, however there were homeless people sleeping outside the entrance during the day and at night the entrance was left with vomit garbage. Once again this is not the fault of the host, his studio was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is a walkable distance from the train station with a few pedestrian only streets. It is nicely located and exactly as the pictures look
