It is a lovely stay with Carol. She did an excellent job of making us feel at home. It is a 5-minute walk away from the shops and restaurants. Kitchen facilities are ready for you to cook like home. I would definitely revisit her!

The Appartement of Carolyn was a really great place to stay. Carolyn received me from the airport and helped to get a local sim direct after my arrival, and also drove me to the next atm. She is a very resourceful and helpful person. Even she could organise me a cycle rental. The Appartement is very close to the city, plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Also a very spacious kitchen / living room. Everything was clean and well-kept. Thanks to moskito screens on any window, no chance for them to enter.

予約させて頂いた段階から、Carolynさんは親切に、色々な質問に素早く答えてくれて、とても助かりました。 パラオの空港にも迎えに来てくれて、夜中なのに、Wi-Fiなどの部屋の利用方法を、丁寧に教えてくれました。 滞在中も、Wi-Fiが繋がらず困った時、連絡したらすぐに解決してくれて、本当に快適に過ごすことが出来ました！ 1週間以上の滞在でしたが、部屋の下にコインランドリーがあったので、洗濯も乾燥もスムーズにすることが出来ました。 食料が売っているスーパーマーケットも、歩いてすぐだったので、買い出しにも便利なロケーションでした。 カセットコンロが1個だけだったので、料理するのに少し手間がかかりましたが、何とか工夫して、パラオでの料理を楽しめました。 またパラオにダイビング&フィッシングをしに来る時は、ぜひまた宿泊したいと思っています。 Carolynさん、本当にありがとうございました〜‼︎ お会い出来たこと、とても良かったです。 また再会出来るのを楽しみにしていますね〜‼︎

Carolyn is really a great host. She is very helpfull and such a friendly person. Having that said, we would have loved to stay at her place. But… Unfortunately the place needs some proper maintenance. It looked like the place wasn‘t rented for a longer period so the aircon wouldn‘t run. Due to the high humidity on the island, the apartment took some damage. There was a very strong oddour (mold?) and the paint came of the wall. If we switched off the aircon when we left or during the night, the water would even start to dropping down the wall and the whole kitchen (e.g. the counter) got wet. This facts made us leave the apartment on our second day due to healt concernes. Once again, we didn‘t regret to choose Carolyn as our host. She‘s just superb! We even bothered with writing this review. But we think it is also important to keep the community informed. If the place gets maintained, we would definetly give it an other try.
