Staying at the villa in the middle of April ( temperature around +27C) was good. The road to the villa has a lot of big rocks be careful to use your car, be ready to drive up to a high inclined road. The villa close to a ferry, Champion market (5min), and the Sofitel beach. It’s a beautiful place with a lots animals around: chickens, dogs, ducks, ants, and 2 cats that claimed their own bedroom downstairs.There are a lot of mosquitoes . It’s probably a good idea to bring your own repellent. We got beaten a lot but we had windows open because this place doesn’t have AC. It would be more enjoyable with AC, more comfortable beds, less dated linen and towels.

Mathilde and Francois's villa was perfect for our group of 6 adults during a four night stay,q providing each couple with their our own adequately spacious bedroom. Our favourite spot was the sizeable deck and the wonderful view that it offered, whether it was around the generous outdoor dining table or the sitting area. We welcomed refreshing dips in the swimming pool. Although our plan was to spend time exploring the island of Moorea, we often found ourselves torn between going out to explore or just staying to enjoy the villa. The well appointed kitchen facilitated our desire to “stay home” and prepare some of our own meals. Being “cat lovers”, we mostly welcomed their presence ~ except when they demanded attention in the early morning ;). Sharing the 1 1/2 bathrooms was not a problem, but we would suggest having at least two additional mirrors (one on each level) located outside the bathrooms.

Super séjour chez Mathilde et François, la villa est très agréable et conforme à l’annonce. Le cadre est paisible et la végétation luxuriante. Les espaces extérieurs sont agréables et la cuisine bien équipée (mention spéciale pour les produits mis à disposition dans la cuisine et le nécéssaire de lessive que nous n’avions quasiment jamais dans nos précédents logements). Le guide transmis contient d’ailleurs de bonnes adresses de snacks / restaurants que nous avons testés et approuvés. La présence des chats ne nous a pas du tout dérangée, ils ne sont pas du tout envahissants et vivent leur petite vie tranquille (principalement à l’extérieur de la villa). Nous n’hésiterons pas à y retourner pour un futur séjour ! :)

We loved this place! The view from the main deck is intoxicating. The pool area is perfectly sized and makes for a cool hang out space. The kitchen is well-designed and comfortable. Plus, the cats make for a friendly addition to the place. We will stay here again!
