The house is situated in a tiny village just above the Lago Maggiore, within walking distance from the lake, Vira, the local bus stop, the train station and the pier where the ship to Locarno, Ascona an several destinations in Italy can be boarded. The house has two balconies with a fantastic view all over the lake, the Maggia-Delta and the surrounding mountains and valleys. The house is the perfect starting point for hikes and for excursions to Locarno, Lugano, Como or even Milan. Within walking distance you also find several lovely spots for taking a dip in the lake. The house is particularly suited for holiday stays of up to people.

wir hatten eine windervolle woche in der wohnung bei salome. alles hat bestens funktioniert und war sehr gut organisiert. wir sind begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.
Un appartement très agréable, idéalement placé pour visiter le Tessin ! Hyper clean, très confortable ! Déconseillé aux personnes aillant du mal à se déplacer car il y a pas mal d’escaliers mais un logement des plus agréables avec une vue pour le petit déjeuner très appréciable ! Je recommande vivement !!!!!!!
Great location to explore Locarno area and the house was clean. We enjoyed a beautiful view from the balcony!
Schöne Aussicht auf den See, mit dem Schiff ist Locarno ganz gut erreichbar und die Wanderwege führen gleich beim Haus vorbei. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.
Einfach toll, wir waren schon das 2. mal da und hoffen auf weitere Ferien im wunderschönen Vira 😀

La maison se trouve dans un petit village authentique du Tessin. Sur la terrasse arrière vous êtes complètement non troublés.
A pied vous pouvez gagner la gare de Magadino-Vira, le bus local et l'embarcadère des bâteaux pour Locarno, Ascona et plusieurs déstinations en Italie.

Ich bin pensioniert und lebe in Basel. Ich besitze das Ferienhaus seit mehr als 20 Jahren und halte mich so oft wie möglich selbst darin auf. Ich geniesse es dort mit meiner Familie Zeit zu verbringen. Ich liebe die Aussicht auf den See, die Berge und Täler - eine Aussicht, die ich bei jedem Wetter faszinierend finde.
