RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND SARCASTIC STAFF. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK. 1) When we arrived at 9PM, they acted as if they weren't expecting us. It turns out THEY THOUGHT it was us who arrived earlier so they have the other room to other guests leaving us with a lower than basic room. 2) Since we were given the most basic room - plywood walls where the noise from the outside is heard at a level, a bathroom with just a curtain for door, a hot shower where it can't have a decent pressure - needless to say we were unhappy. There were drunkards outside that made ruckus until 1AM. We couldn't have decent sleep. 3) There was no doorknob on the door of the room we were given, just a hinge to look with a padlock. I asked one of the helpers to padlock the door and give the key to our driver as we were leaving to have a drink outside only to come home with the padlock and the key still at the helper. 4) At breakfast, I calmly told the one of the fatter lady helpers about the room that we were unhappy. They didn't take it well obviously. Basic longsilog and omelette took THIRTY MINUTES TO BE SERVED. It was apparent that they were taking their time just because we said we were not happy with the room. When asked about the status of the food at around 25minutes, the lady helper answered in a very sarcastic way, "I'm not a super woman ma'am" in which I calmly told her off that this is not the proper way to answer their guests. Next morning we appreciated the moving of rooms but we wanted to be in room 2 instead of room 3. However, all of the helpers had a hard time opening the door in room 2 so we resorted in settling at room 3 instead. 5) As we settled in the new room, we asked for a coffee to be brought to the room but we were surprised to see that as one of the helpers knocked on the door, she just deliberately opened it without waiting for us to do so. My partner was changing during this time and workers should never open doors of guests until they do. This is not a 5-star hotel I agree but this kind of treatment to guests is pushing it far. I wasn't expecting anything yet the disappointment that they gave speaks at how much they have exhausted our patience --- and I am a very patient woman. The owner was not in any way at the property when the ruckus happened because she was at the hospital. She wasn't also there when we left. To that fatter lady helper, I suggest you should never answer to guests like that. You should also be professional in handling complaints rather than be sarcastic and rude. To the owner, telling me that they have the right to behave that way and treat us like that even if I was calm and polite speaks volumes. The second room was ok, much more quiet and acceptable. Unprofessional staff attitude, and poor handling of customer comments and complaints doesn't make this stay very desirable
