It is an old aged and rebuilt stone house. It is located in the village of Limni, in Chania. It is very close to the beach of Elafonisi (15 km). It is only twenty minutes far to Elafonisi by car. Furthermore, it is entirely equipped with all the modern facilities. It is completely decorated with traditional wooden furniture and items. It is convenient for families and couples in order to have relaxing holidays in a quiet and beautiful mountain! The stone house is a detached house (a maisonette), hence it is all yours! The maisonette has a net area of 80 square meters. The house has a big fully equipped kitchen with all the electrical appliances. There is the living room next to the kitchen in the ground floor. The living room has traditional wooden furniture, an energy fireplace, a small table with its small chairs and a smart TV. Its big sofa can become a sinlge bed. Visitors can go upstars by the traditional wooden internal stairway or by the outside stairway. There are two large bedrooms, which are fully equipped, in the first floor. There is a bathroom in the middle of the two large bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and there is space to place a baby cot, if you need it. The second bedroom has two single beds that can become a double bed. Both bedrooms have a smart TV. Outside the house, there is an extra bathroom. There is a launtry inside it that you can use it! All house's smart TVs connect to the Netflix program (Netflix is the world’s leading subscription service for watching TV episodes and movies on Smart TVs). There is a a huge balcony with view upstars that you could enjoy your coffee and relax with your company. There is a large terrace with view downstairs and a garden full of vegetables and trees waiting for you to visit it. The owner will offer you fresh eggs, which he would have taken by his hencoop and vegetables free to taste from his garden!!! It is significant to note that the tap water is drinking water. There, you would meet the quiet mountain life of Crete. The stone house is ideal for families and couples as the two bedrooms ensure the necessary privacy.

Esta casa es completamente mágica. Todo en ella fue hecho con mucho amor y cuidado por el huesped. El recibimiento por parte de Irine y Michalis fue extremadamente dulce y acogedor, en su trato y en las cositas que dejaron para que probaramos sobre la mesa de la cocina y en la heladera, algunas frutas y verduras, vino, raki y las galletas y panes de Irine. Todo delicioso. La casa cuenta con dos baños, uno exterior que no llegamos a utilizar. Dos habitaciones, amplias y comodas. La cocina esta muy bien equipada y es grande, con un comedor que invita a quedarse por siempre, aunque hay otras mesas afuera y en la terraza que tambien invitan a comer ahi. Living comodo aunque poco usado y todo muy lindo en su decoracion. La casa esta muy cerca de playas preciosas, el pueblo cuenta con un cafe y Elos, pueblo a 6 minutos en auto, tiene varios restaurantes, un mini market y una farmacia. En fin, lugar super recomendado. Ojala pueda volver pronto!

Das war mit Abstand einer der schönsten Unterkünfte die wir je hatten und wir sind nur schweren Herzens wieder abgereist. Eirini und Michalis haben uns von ersten Tag an äusserst herzlich aufgenommen und uns persönlich empfangen, sodass wir neben der Einweisung ins Haus auch viel über die Gegend und deren Menschen plaudern konnten. Parallel lief die Kommunikation aber auch über ihren Sohn, sodass wir für alle Fragen ständig und jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner hatten. Der Ort Limni ist super im Herzen des äußeren Westen von Kreta gelegen, sodass man sowohl die südliche, westliche und nördliche Küste erreichen kann (Merkregel: pro Kilometer Entfernung braucht es in etwa 2 Minuten). Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und man kann abends entspannt auf den Terrassen oder unter dem tollen Apfelbaum sitzen und die Sterne beobachten. Wir haben nirgends so viel erholsame Nachtruhe gefunden wie hier. Fazit: das ist definitiv eines der besten AirBNB das wir je hatten. Danke Erini, Michalis und Manos!

Maison superbe dans un environnement magnifique ! Hôtes absolument charmants et accueillants. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de générosité, nos hôtes nous ont offert une très grande quantité de produits locaux et du jardin. Ils se sont montrés d’une grande gentillesse à notre égard. Maison très bien équipée, tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Vacances formidables, nous reviendrons c’est sûr !

Limni is a small hospitable village in Chania. The lake that the village has taken its name, ΄Λίμνη' in Greek, is located 5 minites on foot from the stone house. You could visit that wonderful place and have a picnic there! The village is located in the mountain and it really offers a wonderful natural view. Υou could be really dazzled with the beauty of its nature.

The lake is only ten minutes walk from the house. It is worth to visit it due to relax and take natural photos. Swimming is not allowed in the lake.
The village is located between two mountains. They are named Saint Dikios and Koutroulis. You could have a pleasant walk there!!!
There is an Orthodox church very close to house. It is one minute on foot.
You could additionally visit the two traditional taverns/caffee that there are in the village. They are 5 minutes on foot.

The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, safe and hospitable. Τhe permanent residents are mainly farmers, stock farmers and apiarists.
