The home is very rustic and beautiful. There were 12 of us and plenty of space. The grand living room is absolutely gorgeous. The neighborhood is peaceful and private. Unfortunately, we did see a mouse and the group wanted to relocate. Eric was extremely reasonable with the situation. Not only was he responsive,but they approved us checking out early. Also, the pool was not available for use. However, the home is large and gorgeous with plenty of bathrooms as well.

Our large group absolutely loved staying at Melissa & Eric's home!!! It was cozy, pictured as is, and even better in person. We appreciated the variety of kitchen accessories and dinnerware, the large speaker in the kitchen, kids toys in closets, well decorated and comfy large entertainment room, and extra blankets and towels stored near the bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall, it was a lovely stay and would absolutely stay again!!

This home was a lovely place for a staycation with a large group of friends. The house has ample historic charm and great space for cooking and dining together. The large living room is a great bonus if you are traveling with a larger group- plenty of seating and the grand piano was a fun bonus. The bedrooms were well appointed and the linen and blanket supply was plentiful. There is a Tv in the basement and a spare TV in a bedroom that we made use of.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Melissa's home, which is easy to get to and to hunker down in Winter and don't feel like leaving the house. It is a special place to stay to feel the history and beauty of a historic home. The wide floor boards and wooden beams throughout much of the home are beautiful, as are the historic fireplaces. The grand living room is very accommodating with a fireplace and large windows let in evocative light throughout the day. Its four large cozy couches and the baby grand piano were a highlight for us. We read books there, drew, sewed, played music and board games and it was our hangout when not sleeping, cooking or eating. The kitchen is large, well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and has a nice dine in table which we sat at for all our meals. We used the large dining room table for working on fun embroidery projects. The library was a beautiful place to read and play chess. The candles were a nice added feature. This home is very cozy and beautiful.
