We were in Collingwood for a wedding and Mishy's place offered a great retreat from the hustle of the preparation. There was room for our family and we could relax with a hot tub, swim, sauna, or a game of pool. A lovely, peaceful yard, with beautiful weeping willows, in a quiet neighbourhood. Communication with Mishy was excellent.

The house and property were very lovely and well taken care of. The backyard is the selling point to this rental. (Unfortunately the hot tub was not working properly during our stay :( ) Mishy is also very sweet and prompt with instructions. I had some difficulty with this rental as when I put in filters for ‘entire place’ I was amazed to see this was still available. It turned out that it was not the entire place which was very misleading. Our guest space was in the basement. While Mishy, took the time and walked us through the entire house and showed us everything she kept to herself and out of the way for the most part but, you do have to walk through her space to get to your bedrooms (if you have the 6-7 guests no one else will be renting). She did come down into our space a few times - we didn’t mind. At the Time of renting I wish I new this as we went for a bachelorette - having decorations that are more suited to a younger crowd, it felt weird having her walk through our space and seeing the tacky bachelorette decor. I had asked her if her area was separate from ours before renting and she assured me that it was separate. So after I heard that confirmation I was sold. Turns our definitions of separate were different from each others. I understand that the property now is no longer listed as being able to be rented as a whole space - which is less deceiving and more fair to less suspecting renters. Still a lovely place if you’re looking for a room to stay in outside of the village!

Mishy was an excellent host. We rented the entire house and it couldn’t have been better. Very close to Blue Mountain village so it was nice to walk to see the area. We highly recommend staying here. And the hot tub was an added bonus.

Mishy was an excellent host. She was willing to work with some changes we needed to make with our reservation. Her communication was excellent. The home was very nice and clean. The only issue was that to go from the bedroom to the common space for the guests went through the owner’s area, and there is not a lot of privacy from the owner’s area of the house to the guest area.

The cabin is much larger than we expected or envisioned, the space is decorated beautifully and the host was always available to answer any questions or offer whatever we needed. It was a great place to get away for a weekend. Be aware that there didn’t seem to be air conditioning as the upstairs rooms were pretty warm without the ceiling fan on. Overall great experience
