The inside: As soon as you enter the apartment, it gives you a very eastern European vibe, classic design " Wood, Rock and Vintage furniture" - Tastefully done. It has all the amenities a family would require. - Hot running water, very convenient kitchen, clean and spotless rooms and washrooms. Perfect stay for my parents who wanted to enjoy the quite and wilderness. The Outside: This location is nestled by nature, pine tress and the stunning views of the valley. A beautiful retreat to disconnect and unwind. People: The host has an awesome family as caretakers for this facility. Hamza "Caretaker" and his mother are very kind and helpful to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Conclusion: A hidden gem! A MUST VISIT.

I had a wonderful stay here even though the place was covered in snow. The heating facilities made the house very cosy and comfortable despite the freezing temperatures. Hamza is a super nice guy who made sure all our needs were met during our stay.

Asad's place is a good and newly built cottage. I stayed on the upper floor which was completely private, with its own entrance and balcony. The housekeeper was also prompt to respond and help with whatever we needed. You need to go yourself for all grocery needs, but the market is nearby (5 min drive to Khansapur and 2 mins to Ayubia) so that is not a problem. The stay was great and comfortable. The only problem I had was with spiders. I know they are common in forest-surrounded places. So if you are afraid of them (like me), get your fear aside before coming. Otherwise, a great place to stay with friends and family.

The property is nice, comfortable and well equipped with all necessities. The view from balcony is beautiful. There are extra mattresses to accommodate more people. The location and surroundings are very peaceful and beautiful. However, we faced a couple of problems 1. The driver had no space to sleep so he spent most of his time in the car and slept inside in the lounge which made us uncomfortable due to having ladies in our family 2. The caretakers agreed to provide accommodation to driver in their own house but were demanding unreasonable amount of money 3. The caretaker was unresponsive.

It’s always a pleasure staying at Asad’s place. I’ve stayed at the ground floor before and loved every bit of it. Nonetheless the upper floor was equally amazing. The place is minimally decorated with comfortable furnishings. Hot water is available 24/7 in all the bathrooms and the kitchen. With heaters in every room, you can make the place nice and cozy in the evenings. The kitchen is also well stocked, just bring your groceries along and you’re good to go. The caretaker is very helpful and his mother can help do the dishes so you get to enjoy your vacation. Khanaspur itself is a very quiet and serene place so if you are looking to relax, it’s a great place to stay. Will definitely stay at woodland again, if I’m lucky enough to get a booking.
