This was a beautiful unit with an unbelievable lake view. Great location just far enough away from downtown. 3 balconies- 2 overlooking lake and one poolside. 3 full bathrooms were large and perfect for a group! Near the airport which was fun to watch the planes! The pool was a great size and not very crowded, especially early in the morning when we went. Lots of chairs so social distancing was easy. We traveled with a toddler and we felt safe and he loved every minute of vacation! Unfortunately, our unit was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival ( crumbs everywhere, sand in bathrooms, garage left in some cans, clothing left in closet) management immediately sent the cleaning crew over and they assured us it was cleaned and took the clothes away. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensil, ect. However half of the outlets didn’t work. The listing warns that refrigerator can take a full night to get back to temp after cleaning. This is scary and true. Our fridge was 50 degrees upon arrival and took took almost 5 hours to get to a safe temp. Again- management did send a maintenance man out right away to address our concerns and offer us the fridge in the pool house if the fridge didn’t get back to a safe temp (but also told us it happens all the time because the cleaning crew leaves them open) Lastly- bring your own blankets. Coverlets in bed were thin and small. But hey it’s summer- so not the worst! And the air conditioning was AMAZING and kept the unit super cool! I will say- the issues were minor and management was quick to answer or send someone out to help.
