Overall we enjoyed our stay for Coachella weekend. The location couldn't be better, the house is beautiful, the appliances were in good working condition. I would like to outline some things I would have liked to have been aware of before booking the house... 1. Vacasa is a rental agency and you will need to deal with their office for check in and issues. They will send instructions through the app but that's about it. 2. The 4th bedroom is really a converted sunroom with a large sliding door that is right off the living room. 3. Vacasa charges $150/day to heat the pool, and they are transparent about that cost. However you will also see a SPA in the photos, FYI this is also NOT heated unless you pay that fee. They were not transparent about this detail and so we had a spa that was not useable because we chose not to heat the pool. 4. Those cool hanging chairs in the living room have a strict weight limit of 150 lbs each. 5. Absolutely no early check in or late check out.

The home is in a beautiful location and has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the home itself has not been maintained as well as you would expect. Although we we're assured all previous issues with the house had been resolved and the house was in 'perfect condition', the primary shower was unusable for 4 days. Secondary bedroom shower heads needed to be serviced during our stay as well, in addition to the spa heat not functioning until the end of our second day. Also, the daily cost to heat the pool/spa was three times what we've paid at every other similar locations we've stayed at over the years. From a functional standpoint there was no tv in the living area and the two hanging chairs had a weight limit and 'swinging' was not allowed, virtually rendering them unusable by most adults and children. As noted, the home has endless potential if it were given the attention needed to repair, clean and update certain areas (eg. all the drawers in primary bath are delaminating, etc.)

We booked this house for a weekend, expecting 3 full bathrooms for 4 couples. There was no hot water when we arrived so we contacted Vacasa. A representative, checked out the issue on Sat morning but couldn’t fix it. He promised a refund for the first day, and said we would discuss a discount for the following day depending on when the issue was resolved. A plumber came Sun morning, but was only able to restore hot water to one shower. Attempts to reach Vacasa and AirBnB proved unhelpful. We received a partial refund for only 1 of the 3 nights. The property is NOT worth ~$1300/night. The house is in a good location, but clearly shows the wear of corporate management (stained carpets, broken things around the home). We were also charged $500 to heat the hot tub for the weekend, which kept switching off and never reached the appropriate temperature. I would never book with Vacasa again. Search their reviews online and you’ll see that our experience is fairly typical. Avoid if possible.
