Joe’s and Gail’s house was perfect for our family. Very spacious with 3 rooms and a large living room. We were able to stay cool even with 38 degrees outside. Big yard with BBQ and deck. Joe and Gail live right beside so it’s easy to contact them. They can to chat. They take good care and pride in their property. Kids enjoy the waterpark, few minutes drive from the place. House is in a quiet are with no shops and noise around.

I did not want to review Joe’s place but he has prompted me to with his behaviour. My family and l felt unwelcome from the instant we arrived causing us to stay only one night instead of 2 . 1st we realised that Joe lives next to the house and obviously if he is in his yard he naturally can look over to the guest house and that makes one very uncomfortable . Note l have stayed places where hosts are around but at least l knew before booking and that is ok. 2nd house has a weird smell we couldn’t quiet tell what it was . 3rd From the minute you walk in you are greeted by a strange doll at the entrance and rules everywhere ( including on fridge )which makes one soo conscious he doesn’t supply linen but the donnas do not smell fresh -got changed for stain on cushion. Backyard is beautiful but we couldn’t enjoy it for fear of being spied on ,ps he doesn’t introduce himself We felt more of intruders and less of guests the entire time ( one day /night) Joe is a business man not a host .

Joe and Gail are fantastic hosts. The home is absolutely beautiful spotlesly clean and has everything needed for a wonderful stay. It was great to be able to have our dogs come along with us. Shame we couldn't stay longer this time but we will be back to this beautiful home in a beautiful part of the world. I would definitely recommend Joe and Gails place 100 💯. Thanks Joe and Gail

Great for our family, clean and comfy, good size lounge, great back verandah and outside aread. Big dining table. set out well. short drive or healthy walk to Beach or Jetty.

Nice place not far from the beach, and the main street, bedroom layout is good with enough bedding, the living and dinning area is suffcient for a family stay and playing. The backyard is huge for barbecue and all other activity. Also there is a fishing cleaning table out the back so you can worry free the smells and enjoy you fishing of the beautiful York！The house looks a lot nicer than the photo definitely worth the price.
