I found a home away from home, my weekend stay at Devika Ji’s homestay was perfect, warm and memorable. The beautifully done cottage reflects the warmth and aesthetic sense of the host. The rooms were clean n cosy, every nook and corner seemed to have her personal touch. The view from the balcony is awesome. The food beyond expectation- superb. The local cuisines were served to us with much warmth and grace- the taste yummylicious! If you are looking to spend some quite time to urself with an added bit of warmth of a company, this is the place.

It is a fantastic place with very warm people. Devika Aunty is an amazing woman who has created a magical corner surrounded by hills. Her charming cottage is decorated with peach plants, blooming hydrengeas and hemmed by lovely pink climbing rose vines. Her staff is caring and take great effort to make the guests feel comfortable. Every meal we had here is a memory to cherish - from bengali luchis to pahadi rajma and ragi roti. It is a place to relax and reflect, a slice of good life that we all chase put together affectionately by the incredible Devika Aunty.

Devika’s place is a hidden gem in the mountains. If you need a place to stay in that area, you can simply close your eyes and book Devika’s place. Devika is an awesome host. Very welcoming. The place is super clean and well-cared for. The food is delicious. The location is perfect with ample sunlight all through the day. The staff is courteous. I had a wonderful time. I’m glad I chose to book this place over other options in the area.
