Aufenthalt für 3 Wochen im April und vollends zufrieden!! Der Empfang am Ort durch Niki, die Mutter von Manolis war herzlich und begleitet mit einem feinen vorbereiteten Nachtessen. Auch zwischendurch war ein hilfreicher und freundlicher Kontakt möglich. Die Wohnung ist grosszügig, sauber und komplett eingerichtet. Eine Besonderheit ist der fix montierte Wasserfilter mit separatem Hahn in der Küche für frisches Trinkwasser. Kein Flaschen schleppen nötig! Tris Ekklisies ist ein kleiner abgelegener Ort im Süden von Kreta, mit gut ausgebauter Strasse und vielen Haarnadelkurven etwas aufwändig zu erreichen. Nebst dem Strand im Dorf mit Tavernen hat es auch 2 sehr schöne Strände auf beiden Seiten des Dorfes, welche gut zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Nochmals ein grosses Dankeschön an Niki und Manolis, es war wunderschön!!

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in Manolis Haus. Seine Mama hat uns mit einem sehr leckeren griechischen Essen empfangen, was uns nach einer anstrengenden Autofahrt sehr gefreut hat. Das sympathische Dorf mit seinen herzlichen Bewohnern haben wir auch liebgewonnen…man kommt hier wirklich zur Ruhe und hat mehrere wunderschöne Buchten wo man herrlich schwimmen kann und die wir gänzlich für uns alleine geniessen konnten, Anfang April. Das Haus ist super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Absolut empfehlenswert für Ruhe suchende!

Manolis and his family are beautiful and wonderful people. They are always there to help with whatever needs we had. Manolis was there when we arrived, his mother had fresh baked Greek food waiting for us after a long flight. They were willing to help us find transportation - there wasn't anything they weren't willing to help us with. I don't think I have ever had such a responsive host. Treis Ekklisies is a very quiet and serene place. The villagers that live there are very friendly and very close themselves, it is like you are staying with a large extended family. You really feel that you are experiencing the real Greece, the real Crete not the tourist experience. Everyone says good morning, good evening, they buy you drinks and you feel they sincerely welcome you to the village. We stayed a total of 40 days and were never bored. We made new friends and came back home refreshed and energized. A must for those that want a quiet, relaxing, beautiful experience with real people.

place is simply fabulous! very spacious , clean , with an Incredible sea view. it feels very homey, kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance you can think of. More than I have at home :-) We arrived in the middle of the night and there was a hot meal waiting for us in the oven and local products in the fridge. Place is so much more than AIRNB - it s a home away from home. thank you Manolis and Krzysia!

I was greeted by the mum of Manolis and she prepared not only dinner for but bought some food for me because the supermarket is closed in November. Some days later on the dad brought food downstairs and all of it tasted wonderful. Manolis gave me clear instructions how to find the apartment and where I could find supermarkets and farmer markets. He always answered very fast and solved all my problems in no time. The apartment is great with a nice view and you can reach the beach in 2 minutes. The village is wonderfully calm and I I had a great time to go swimming in the morning before I did my remote work. The wifi is a bit slow for video conferencing from time to time but my phone had good access, so I switched to my phone if needed. This could have been a problem because my friend’s phone had often a bad connection, so lucky me. You’ll find everything in the kitchen for cooking which is very useful in November because the taverna at the beach is rarely open in this time of the year.
