This was my second time staying at Donovan's and it was just as wonderful as I remember it. Place was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Donovan is super friendly and communicative. Highly recommend Donovan's place should you need to stay anywhere in the McKinleyville, Arcata, Blue Lake, Trinidad area!
Donovan's place is a true gem! It was the perfect basecamp for two adults and a pup to explore the beaches and forests of Redwood National and State Parks. The unit has everything you need, and they even provided a dog bed! Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect! The bed was the best bed in an AirB&B we have stayed in so far. And we’ve stayed in a lot of AirB&B’s! We enjoyed the cozy fireplace as when watched TV. It was great after a long day of work and travel! Our hosts we very friendly and had great communication. We would most definitely stay here again.

I am a long time Northern California resident. My wife and I are proud parents of our 12 year old son. I currently work as a referral based handyman. Where I work on everything from plumbing to painting to interior design. I love making things that are ugly and broken become flawless and functional. When I'm not working, my family and I love to travel, visit friends and BBQ.
