KJ as a host was excellent, she accommodated us next day after another host cancelled our month stay the morning of. She was responsive provided good detail & quickly addressed all of our questions. The location as far as the city is excellent! The apartment is one block off the Boston commons with close access to public transportation. Less than a mile walk gets you to Newbury Street, the Prudential, Downtown, the Financial District & the North End. The location is not for light sleepers however as the apartment is on a busy roadway that is active throughout the night. Sirens, car horns, construction vehicles, night time sidewalk power washing or parking garage gate beeps & people are creating a steady stream of noise. As other views have mentioned it is across the street from a homeless shelter across. It seems that they self regulate with employees out & monitoring around the shelter as we never felt unsafe. The apartment also has weekend night security guards in the lobby.

Check-in and parking was easy. The location is convenient. When we arrived it was probably 80 degrees inside. It took an hour or so to get the place to a comfortable temperature. Overall it’s shabbier than the pictures show. Other reviews commented about the homeless outside and that was true but not bothersome.
