We hebben een week met twee gezinnen genoten van deze plek. De host was erg behulpzaam en stond altijd voor je klaar. Het is fijn een huis met airco te hebben en de grote keuken was ook erg fijn. De plek, het zwembad en de tennisbaan waren heerlijk. In het geheel kan het soms net even een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Het net op het tennisveld, paar airco’s stuk, een vaatwasser die net niet lekker werkt, buitenmeubilar wat niet meer goed is. Maar nogmaals dat mocht de pret niet drukken.

We spent two weeks here with 4 people (including a 4 yr old) and had a very nice stay. The area is very quiet and secluded, so you only hear an occasional car passing by on the road behind the house. Bigger supermarkets (Lidl) are 45 minutes away in Rieti or Terni, although there are smaller supermarkets in the area (where you can tap your own wine, Supermercato Convenienza Piu at 15 minute drive). We tried 3 different restaurants in the area (Podere San Giorgio, Ristorante L'Oasi di Vescovio and Ristorante Da Lina), all very affordable and very good food and lovely scenery/scene which we can recommend to anyone. The house is big enough, there was one room we did not use during our stay and every bedroom has their own bathroom, which is great (although the showers are not very constant in providing warm/cold water). We missed some proper 'lounge' furniture/room for more than 3 persons, but i guess that's not how Italians spend their evenings. The (industrial) kitchen is very big and has a lot of equipment ready for use, although some of it wasn't that clean. We could not get the dishwasher working, so we ended up doing the dishes manually. Not bad, but there is room for improvement. The house has almost everything you need, although some furniture is a bit outdated or used/repaired. We did miss a washing machine, so we took some extra clothes/luggage with us, but this would be a nice addition to the house. The pool has a beautiful view over the valley and during the day it warms up just enough (by the sun) to have a comfortable swim (we spent our holiday the first two weeks of September and had two sunny weeks of 30 C. There are only 4 beds at the pool (which was enough for us), but since the house can host more people, maybe some extra beds (with pillows) are a nice addition. The tennis court (concrete) is perfect for tennis sessions, but the net could use a repair. We had a 4 yr old that runs around all the time, which (in hindsight) is not very comforting with the stairs and different levels in and around the property. You don't have a full overview of the area and rooms, so with small/young children, please keep in mind that you can loose sight of them quite easily. Before we arrived at the house, we had contact through AirBnB with Interhome, which did not respond quickly and weren't very helpful in providing the right information. We did not need to pickup the keys in a different location first (even though this was mentioned by Interhome at first), but we could go to the house straight away after contacting the owner (Paolo). It is best to get in touch with Paolo as soon as possible and keep in touch with him through WhatsApp. He was there to help us out every time we had any questions and he was on the site regularly to maintain the pool, garden, et cetera. Paolo is a very nice man and does not bother you at all when you are at the house. At the end of our stay we cleaned the rooms and kitchen, but Paolo said that was not necessary. There is a cleaning service included in the stay (Interhome Conditions say otherwise though) and Paolo did not want to check the house before we left. Perfect service by Paolo and we can recommend this house to anyone!

The view from the terrace and the pool area is magnificent and great for a relaxing stay with friends and family. The house has enough space and the industrial kitchen is great for cooking in larger groups. A dish washer would be a good add on to the offer. The pool is really good for both children and adults, however a bit more shade from the sun would be good.
