My family was very happy with our stay. The house was just as described. It is an older farmhouse with charm and quirks (which is what we enjoy). Do note that the full height of the ceilings upstairs is 6'1". It worked fine for us, but if you have very tall people in your party, know this going in. I only had to contact Greg & Kamrie once, and their response was within 10 minutes! Very responsive. It was a great location for us, as we were visiting family in friends in Waterville, Camden and Bar Harbor.

Greg & Kamrie‘s house is very comfy and spacious, with everything you would need for a medium to large group of people to be comfortable. It is a historical house with some cool details (and very, very clean!), and Greg and Kamrie were very responsive to any questions we had.

Thanks so much to Kamrie and Greg! Our stay at their charming Black Horse Cape was just what we needed! The living space was just right for our family of five adults: two full baths (fluffy towels!), loads of bedrooms (linens were fab!), as well as a well-appointed modern kitchen, plus a dining room and living room. Perfect! The cape served as our home base as we happily meandered around shopping and enjoying some of the local sights and eats in nearby towns including Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Rockland, Camden and of course Belfast. We also spent some downtime at the house very comfortably reading, playing cards, watching a bit of TV, and just relaxing. A good night’s sleep was had by all, especially with the a/c in the master bedroom (and living room too!) and plenty of fans all around 🥳 We were right at home during our five night stay in this clean, welcoming, classic Maine house 😊

Lovely antique home, well kept, well furnished and nice kitchen. The back deck was a relaxing place to have coffee in the morning and sit out later in the day. We had a family reunion nearby, so this was a great place for 5 family members to stay together. We also got to enjoy dining and walking around Belfast. Kamrie was very responsive to a couple of questions I asked, and considerate of our time there as she asked if it would be OK for her to mow the lawn and Greg to pop in to fix the air conditioner. She even had fresh baked cookies there for our arrival! I would heartily recommend Black Horse Cape!
