Extremely lovely sea view from the terrace and beautiful terrace plants! However, the terrace roof was falling apart on one end, just looked ugly. Especially when snapping photos. One of the bathrooms had a foul smell permeating through the closed door. Toilet flushing = loud banging noise for 2 mins. The cheap plastic shower; door fell off, built up soap scum on edges. Really should be replaced with a regular tiled shower, be much easier to keep deeply clean. The Lack of glassware in the kitchen! There was only 2 wine glasses, then 1 broke and well 🙄. Wifi was non existent, never got it to work. TV had 200 air channels of global news 🤮. No Smart TV, so couldn’t sign into apps 😕. So made for boring evenings on our nights at home. The bathrooms weren’t prepared with body-wash, shampoo, lotion. First morning had to wash with hand soap 🤪. The villa interiors are gorgeous though. Except, out of place contemporary sofa 😊. Never got my “gift basket” 😐.

Villa Amore is truly breathtaking, photos cannot do it justice. I was lucky enough to stay for a month, and everything was perfect. Check in and check out were as smooth as can be, the home was cleaned at least once a week (and was perfectly clean upon arrival). The home is spacious with the most incredible terrace you will find. Although the wifi did work when I arrived, it wasn't as reliable as I needed (I was working remotely). I told Vito, and he had the cable company put down new fiber optic cables, went to Sorrento to buy a 4g router, and offered to put me in a hotel for the night until it was fixed. Truly above and beyond, and the wifi was incredibly fast and reliable for the rest of the trip. I highly recommend this home, you will never forget it!

Vito’s house has an awesome view but you have to climb 194 steps. It is not walking distance to anything. We used city bus to go to Positano or Praiano or Amalfi. The communication was excellent and Patricia met us at the road and helped us check in. They also helped with luggage. I would recommend it to anyone who can walk those steps.

Perfect location for a relaxing stay, would definitely go again.
