I would not recommend staying here due to the smell of cat urine on the couch, rugs, etc. Chupacabra was very sweet but we unfortunately couldn't get past the smell. We love and have owned several cats so I was not worried about the owner's cat living there initially but the smell was overpowering. It also generally wasn't as clean as I am used to from other AirBnBs.

The house was super convenient to all the ski areas, there is shopping close by, the kitchen was well apportioned and we saved a lot of money by cooking our meals. There’s a giant TV in the living room and we had a lot of fun sitting around watching extreme skiing videos each night. The huge sectional sofa made for a comfy place for everyone. The electronics and huge TVs throughout were amazing but the house itself isn’t a super fancy fully renovated home, I don’t expect that for the great price. There were some bumps in the road, but host was super responsive and instantly responded to text messages and corrected any issues we had. The cat was super sweet and loving, but also with a playful mischievous side. Hot tub was super nice and host went out of his way to get it repaired when it was down on first day.

RaVell’s place was okay overall besides the odor of cat urine. RaVell’s outdoor cat aged 1 year was very disruptive during the night when we were trying to sleep. Auto-cat feeder would make loud noises at 4 am and the cat would rush over to get fed. The cat has full access to 2/4 bedrooms and would disturb whoever was sleeping in them as the cat is very needy for attention and to be pet during the night. The cat cannot be excluded from these two bedrooms and whines if kept out. One of my guests had multiple scratches by the end of our stay and was concerned about infection due to the cat spending time outdoors. Very strange hosting an airbnb where you require guests to care for your juvenile outdoor cat. Another issue was a broken hot tub. I was informed 1 day in advance that a repairman was coming out during my check in day and would likely fix it. It ended up requiring a part that never came and therefore the hot tub was inoperable our entire stay and airbnb gave 23% credit. 2.5/5

Very nice place to stay in Salt Lake City. The house is very comfortable, it has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are amazingly comfortable. Half an hour's drive to the ski resorts. Quiet, peaceful place. Shops, restaurants - everything is nearby. It is very convenient that the house has two separate laundry rooms on different floors. There is an amazing cat Chupacabra living in the house. He is very peaceful, playful and beautiful. We played with him and fed him with great pleasure. RaVell, the owner of the house, is a very nice person. If we are in Salt Lake City again, we will definitely try to rent this house again. Very recommend this property for stay!
