Gerard was a great host, very helpful and responsive whenever I contacted him. the accommodation was in the perfect location, very quiet and a short walk from all the local sights. The accommodation was a little bit tired and could do with a bit of a redec but overall was well worth the money. I would definitely stay again 😁

Great communication and friendly and helpful to pick up keys. Apartment is fine, the amenities are basic but great to be able to wash clothes and has some essentials to do simple cooking. No coffee maker but good cafes all around the area. It was clean enough. It was mostly quiet although you can hear other people moving around the block at times as it is an old building and Friday night was drunk people outside until morning. Not unlike most city centres however. I really enjoyed my 3 nights stay. I'd stay again if I wanted somewhere simple, but might try and go a bit more upmarket if staying with a partner for example.

I was a cyclist on my own for a week or so here and it was perfect. Let's break it down: 1) location, in the old town. Ideal, lots of takeaway options around. My favourite was Can Kebab. Homemade quality. When I was hungry, volver empanadas was my go-to. 2) the flat. The below reviews are helpful, the kitchen is limited but I brought my aeropress coffee maker and came expecting to buy stuff which was easy in the local Spa. (Note to self: bringing British teabags with me on holiday is a game changer). Don't expect to have long hot showers, Catalonia is in the midst of a drought. You won't be whipping up stirfries Ken Holm style on the hob either, but it works great for pasta or an omelette. Also, I loved the space available, the washing machine and the balcony. 3) the bike space. Another game changer. Ground level so you just pop it in and out. All in all, I was very happy with this Airbnb! I don't hand out glowing reviews like cookies, but this one deserved it.
