Brenda's home, Sunset View House, was perfect for our family vacation! The house had everything we needed. It is obvious a lot of thinking and planning went into furnishing with comfortable beds, sofas, chairs, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking & baking pans, skillets, and utensils. The location was unbelievably beautiful and peaceful. Their view of the lake is best we've ever seen! And although the drive to get there is a bit longer than we have been used to with past rentals, the roads are good and scenery is beautiful- newly planted field, hay bales, barns.......Our son took his son into Camdenton most mornings to play tennis and kick soccer balls. Although there are many nice restaurants in Camdenton, we chose to "stay home" and enjoy every moment of staying in this home. The family room and outside front deck were cozy and inviting. If someone needed a break from the group, each bedroom had a TV and also perfect for reading. We want to return!!

Such a wonderful Waterfront property! Host is very responsive. Property is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ever need. This property is a little piece of heaven right on the water you won't be disappointed.

After owning a house on the main channel for many decades we were looking for a more peaceful, quiet location on the lake. We found it in Sunset View. The host, Brenda, was great to work with. Very responsive and helpful. The house was perfect for our group of six and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped. We brought most of food and drink but did make a run to Gerbes and Walmart in Camdenton (about 25 minutes away) to pick up some groceries and supplies. Bedrooms were decent sized and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the covered patio overlooking the lake. It had plenty of shaded seating, including a big hammock. We ate several meals out there and loved watching the beautiful sunsets. We made good use of the outdoor grill and also the firepit for smores. Some logs were provided for the firepit but we also bought a duralog to help get the fires started. We took advantage of the dock for swimming, kayaking and fishing. The swim dock had plenty of space to lay down towels plus space for chairs and was very sunny all afternoon. We brought a couple of patio chairs and a small table down to the dock for some seating. The water was lovely and quiet with just a few boats the whole day. We also spent several hours hiking at HaHa Tonka (20 minute drive from Sunset). Later that day we rented a pontoon and a tube from the very nice people at Montego Bay Marina (about 1/2 hr drive from Sunset) and had fun tubing, coving and cruising the lake for 4 hours. We enjoyed our stay at Sunset View and definitely want to come back. Thank you.

Brenda was a wonderful host. She checked to make sure everything was OK. This place is beautiful. The place was clean and ready when we arrived. Everything was accurate as described. The sunsets are soul stirring. The beds are very comfortable. We had everything that we needed in this AirBNB. You can tell they worked to make sure everything was there to make your visit wonderful. Supplies of everything was great. We did not have any problems with anything. This place is decorated so cute and my grown children could not stop saying that I had picked a wonderful place for our family reunion. The grandchildren loved the dock, swimming and the hammock. The weather just happened to be beautiful on our weekend. The A/C in this house was wonderful even when the heat was pretty hot outside. The kitchen was stocked with so many items that were useful and needed. There were enough dishes, cups and everything. We had a houseful and never had a problem. There are chairs and tables on the back porch under shade that we used anytime we weren’t in the water. We had a wonderful time as a family and would love to come back in the future! Thanks Brenda.
