Wow! Our time in Lopud was everything we thought it would be and more. The house was absolutely amazing and the hardest decision was leaving for the day or to get food. The view from the patio was amazing and a great way to start and end the day.

The villa , surroundings and view are breathtaking. Baki and Nikolina were very responsive and helpful about arrival, check-in, recommendations and check-out. The villa is semi rural, being the last residence on a path from the harbour so very quiet with quite a bit of wildlife. It's about 10-15 minutes walk with 150+ steps to climb but Nikolina met us at the ferry and arranged two gardeners to help carry the luggage up for us. The design and interiors are impeccibly tasteful including artworks and classic furniture. We felt at home immediately and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are rocky beaches with access to the sea within a 5-10 minutes walk and a couple of great restaurants along the harbour front. Of course there is also the rest of the island to explore including the sandy Sunj beach, countless tiny, ancient chapels dotted around and the ruined hill-top fortress. We highly recommend this place and hope to return as soon as possible.

We had a wonderful stay at Bakis’ house. The house is amazing, with a beautiful interior, decorations and high ceilings - a real artists retreat indeed. We especially loved the terrace and the views, which were breathtaking but also the beautiful indoor space and the kitchen. Nikolina was very helpful for checkin and gave us great recommendations and explanations for the area. She also respected our privacy and made us feel at home. The house is reachable by 10mins walking a path with stairs from the port and is close to a forest - so we had some visitors from nature, such as mice and small lizards and there are wild boars in the forest (but we didn’t see any). It was a nice experience to enjoy the peace and quiet in this spacious home. Down in the village are delicious restaurants (although a bit pricy) and a beach. The larger (Sunj) beach is reachable by a longer walk / golfcart taxis. We would love to come back to this house anytime. It was one of the most relaxing stays ever.

This part of an island is beautiful, untouched, peaceful and magical. Our host Dario was extremely friendly, kind and very helpful. He made us feel welcomed and we immediately got the sense of belonging. We enjoyed the lush Mediterranean vegetation, the scents and sounds of nature. We loved everything about this special, hidden gem and would love to visit again and stay much longer. Thank you for this experience!

We had a wonderful stay at the Artist's retreat. The photos do not do the villa justice...it is so beautiful. We were met by Dario at the port who showed us to the villa and helped us with our cases. The house itself is stunning and very tastefully decorated. Dario was amazing and very helpful giving us recommendations and helping us with our queries. The views from the terrace are incredible. I would highly recommend this place. We dream of going back one day. The only thing you have to know is that there is a lot of walking and a lot of steps - so it is not for those who find this difficult.
