A great spot which suited our family perfectly. - Enough space for four kids and two adults to enjoy time together, but also retreat when needed. - Open plan kitchen/dining/living, and two bathrooms were all immaculately cleaned. - Well-heated home, with heat pump and underfloor heating...as well as very clear instructions on how to use. - Books, games and scooters/bikes for the kids were also very much appreciated. - Super close to the hot pools at De Bretts, and a short drive from other amenties. - Really helpful having both washing machine and dryer after a very wet day on the mountain. Modern and clean home, big enough for everyone to hang out comfortably. The double bed in the second bedroom was a little small but overall a great place.

This place is fantastic. When we walked in we were blown away--it far exceeded our expectations. It is a late build family home where everything has been finished to a high standard. That said it also had a comfortable family vibe. Our nine-year-old daughter enjoyed the kids room which has fun bunk beds in it. There are three other comfortable rooms. The master bedroom is particularly great. A nice en suite with a particularly nice, large, shower. It has a sliding door into the outdoor area I mention further down. We noted there is a bath in the main bathroom which looked great although we didn't get the chance to use it. There is a big very comfortable L-shaped couch in the lounge which was great for kicking back in the evening. It has a view of the lake. From the other side there is a ranch slider that opens into an indoor/ outdoor relaxing area, with a view out to the hills an over a wooded gully. The notes suggested that environment could get a bit hectic in the full blaze of summer but it was certainly very nice when we were staying there in October (spring time in NZ). The house is fully equipped with all of the basics if you need them. The kitchen is large and well appointed. There is a walk-in pantry. The kitchen has all of the basics you need for holiday cooking. There is also a range of cookbooks should you need them. I enjoyed browsing through them. There is also gear in the garage. I saw a mini Weber bbq with a gas bottle which I assume is available to use although if this is important to you, check, because I can't remember off hand while I write this. I would book it again in a heart beat. Worth everything cent. Steve Keall
