Oliphant is a beautiful home base for area day tripping and exploring different activities around the Bruce. Sauble Falls is less than 10 min South. The Grotto is less than an hour away. Scuba Diving in Tobemory is an hour North. Sauble Beach, Southampton , Port Elgin & Wiarton are a short drive and great for shopping, dining and relaxing scenic drives. LCBO, Beer Store, Groceries & Gas are just 10 minutes away in Wiarton or Sauble.
In the summer, a short bike ride from the house, takes you down the road to the beach and marina where you can swim, paddle board, boat, fish, kitesurf, kayak, watch the fireworks on the long weekend or enjoy the spectacular evening sunsets.
You can enjoy both Lake Huron on the West side and Georgian Bay on the east side of the Bruce Peninsula.
Fall colours are beautiful on the Bruce and it’s a perfect time to explore kms of scenic trails, whether you’re hiking, biking, Atving, bird watching or looking for the perfect photo!

If you would like to rent high-quality adventuring gear- Suntrail Source for Adventure Hwy 6 Hepworth Ontario It's located approximately 300 metres from the Sawmill Nordic Centre.
Sauble River Marina also provides rentals of water sport equipment and bikes. You can rent Kayaks and Canoes under the bridge at Sauble Falls.

You’ll need your car to go into town, however the roads along the lakeshore provide stunning scenery and are perfect for biking and walking. Don’t forget to bring your bikes!
