2 weken genoten. Na al die mooie recensies valt er bijna niets meer toe te voegen. Het is echt een geweldig kasteel, met een authentieke uitstraling maar van alle gemakken voorzien. We verbleven 2 weken in een bijzonder warme periode. Daarom hebben we erg genoten van het grote zwembad. Novella is trouwens een geweldig mens, zoals iedereen. Een warm welkom met alle hulp en ondersteuning die je maar kunt wensen. Echt een aanrader. Qua ligging zijn er mooie dorpjes in de buurt, maar mobiliteit is wel vereist als je meer van het land wilt zien. Het huis zelf, op de top van een heuvel, met zo'n uitzicht, kon niet beter.

We had a wonderful time at Novella's accommodation. We had enough space in the accommodation despite 6 adults, 3 children and a dog, because the rooms are very spacious. The price-performance ratio was top. The kitchen was equipped with all the utensils we needed to cook. There were 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge living room and a large kitchen. The larger bathroom included a bathtub and toilet. In the smaller bathroom we had a shower, toilet and washing machine which was very helpful with three kids. The apartment is on the second floor and had a child lock for the stairs, so we could let the kids run free. We especially liked the pool. We were there very early, yet the water was very pleasant without having become heated. In front of the house there were two parking spaces for our cars. Please note that the accommodation is at the top of the mountain, so a car would be an advantage. Unfortunately, there are no shopping facilities nearby.

The place in Ortignano is truly breathtaking. It is the top floor of a huge stone house on the very top of the Tuscan Hills. The views are fantastic and the pool is amazing. There are quite a lot of mosquitoes so come prepared with your spray and protection. We hired a car as location is quite remote but lots of lovely places easily accessible. The beds were really comfortable and kitchen had all amenities needed for a family stay. Novella was a fantastic host, only a message away throughout our stay.

Un'esperienza che ricorderemo! Quando ci capiterà ancora di dormire in una dimora storica che sembra un vero castello? Spazi amplissimi (ed eravamo 8 con un cagnolino!), presenza dei comfort necessari (lavastoviglie, TV flat, wi fi, lavatrice). Ottimo lo spazio esterno, bella piscina e griglia con tavolo coperto. Punto di partenza per diverse escursioni. Serate fresche anche in giornate calde, ed un ottimo punto di vista per la notte di S.Lorenzo!
