The house is located 3 km from St. Climenç, is the town that makes functions of "capital of the municipality", as the municipality of Pinell del Solsonès is a municipality of scattered farmhouses. The current town has its origins in the castle and in the fortified village of the 12th-13th centuries, later in the 16th century the castle was transformed into a manor house. Nowadays the town has a very well preserved medieval ensemble.
