We really enjoyed our stay here. This was the first time we have stayed in an Airbnb so we were a bit apprehensive. We needn’t have worried as the house and location were exactly as described and communication with the host was excellent. As previous reviews have said the accommodation is a little dated but it was warm and clean with a well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed so perfect for our stay. We took our dog with us and he enjoyed the outside space which was secure and great location for lovely walks. If we were to return to Annecy we would definitely stay here again

Loved staying in St Jorioz! Quiet location away from the traffic of Annecy but still close enough to ride bikes into the downtown. Spacious rooms and a good sized bathroom upstairs. The tub/shower was a challenge at first but we figured it out. Bike rental, excellent bakery, multiple grocery stores (Biocoop for organic and those with food allergies), trails, beaches, restaurants, florist, all nearby. We did not rent a car but preferred to bike everywhere. Having access to a car for a few days would be preferred for most people to see some further sights but we managed. We enjoyed the bike ride around the lake—some challenging parts due to traffic. The decor is simple but everything was very comfortable—sofa and beds—and clean. Hosts were responsive and went out of their way to help us! We could not have asked for a better experience. The views alone are worth staying here! Laying on a lounge chair in the backyard looking at the views is wonderful.

Magnifique chalet les pieds dans le lac ! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour le chalet est dans son jus mais tout y est et il est très spacieux. On reviendra à coup sur!

Perfect house for our holiday. We didn't think we would be swimming in the lake as conditions have to be perfect for us to swim but we did so everyday. Getting through the reeds was not easy but once you are through them it was amazing. Warm, clear water with soft sand underneath while getting gradually deeper made swimming easy with the best views you could ever want. It was unforgettable. As others have said the house and furnishing are dated and has some strange quirks but in quite a charming way and reflected in the price. Seating is comfortable inside and out and the kitchen is reasonably well equipped. The garden always has a lot of shade (essential during the heatwave we had). The house was cool enough during the hottest point in the day. The location was great - walkable to the village for the shop and boulangerie and a free bus to get to Annecy and other places along the lakeside. Being away from the main road was also a bonus as it is very busy.
