The Joglo was vey homy and reminded me so much of my grandma's house: the smell, the atmosphere and obviously the look. I also love that you can hear the sound of the river from inside the house, very calming.

Very nice and homey stay. Host was very responsive. The house keeper was very helpful to all our questions about the area and everything we needed at the place. The building is also beautiful and what was in the images and description. Because the house is old fashion mosquitos do manage to get in easily, I recommend getting some mosquito repellant at the stay

Ein wunderschönes Haus, sehr sauber, Wasser und Café mit dabei… ruhige Lage und doch zentral.. immer wieder gerne 👍 Nur das WLAN ist zum surfen zu schwach…

We had a wonderful time staying in the Joglo house. The old style felt very authentic. When we arrived there was no one to open the gate, but after we called pak Aris the maid came very quickly. From the house it was a nice walk to the botanical gardens and places to eat. The wifi didn't work, but for us that was no problem as we had an Indonesian phone with internet. During our stay the maid made sure the house was clean and when we left she was there to say goodbye and lock the house. Note for everyone visiting Bogor: Make sure to bring a umbrella or rain coat when you visit Bogor! We had a lot of rain.
