Blue Mountains Escapes provided detailed instructions and was quick to respond to emails. The property is exactly as described with plenty of room for a family. Photos are accurate except for the sofas and rug near the fireplace, which were replaced at some point. Location is perfect if you plan to explore the Blue Mountains or Blackheath Village.

The property is spacious, clean and warm. The host is very thoughtful, leaving lights and heating on for our arrival. An easy 20 minute walk to both the village and Govett's Leap lookout. Lots of bushwalking tracks locally.

Enjoyable stay. Very peaceful and quiet location. Heating in the house was great for some very cold days that had during our stay. Thanks hosts!

There were no tea towels, washing up liquid etc when we arrived. I rang the agency and didn’t get a response. So we went into town to buy a tea towel and dishwashing liquid. When we came back a box had been delivered with that in it and some tea and coffee etc. You need to make sure that it is already there when guests arrive or written down somewhere that is coming later! Or just have a big bottle of washing up liquid etc just there rather than waste it on tiny containers. And as towels are there any way, why not some tea towels too? Why does all that need to come separate and same for tea and coffee? Also rate of $400 per night was extremely high and over the top for that type of property which is not super luxurious.

Clean and tidy, close enough to walk to the main street, we really enjoyed our stay in Blackheath.
