Bordering the coast is the Malecón of Caibarién only 50 meters away, exceptional for cooling off with the sea breeze, walking, exercising or enjoying the sunset.
Also bordering the bay but only 150 meters away are the ruins of the old Sugar Stores, where sugar was stored and exported from the central region of Cuba during the Spanish Colony.
Nestled in the ruins of the oldest building in the city just 300 meters away is the Bar La Ruina, with offers of drinks and national beers such as Bucanero and Cristal.

To the south, just 7 km from Caibarién is the city of Remedios the eighth village founded in Cuba that celebrates its 500 years of history, with several places of cultural interest, heritage and special gastronomic offerings:
- The San Juan Bautista Parochial Major Church, with its unique gold-plated wooden altar in the Baroque style.
- La Hermita del Buenviaje, located just 200 meters from the Parroquial Mayor, which makes the plaza special because it is the only one in Cuba that has two churches so close to each other.
