Tempa Del Fico è un incontro con la natura,che qui si svela affascinante ma non addomesticata, è un incontro con l'aria pulita, che ti sorprendi a respirare,è un incontro con il silenzio, nel quale metti in gioco i malesseri e, se ce la fai,ritrovi il benessere. È un incontro con persone autentiche,per le quali Tempa del Fico è una scelta di vita,un connubio fra corpo, pensiero e...tanto lavoro. Se avete voglia di destrutturarvi e ricomporvi andate,altrimenti scegliete altre mete più scontate.Erbe profumate, farfalle che ti accompagnano mentre passeggi, ruscelli che scorrono all'ombra della vegetazione. Con l'auto, quasi indispensabile ,potete raggiungere altre attrazioni naturalistiche nei dintorni, come le gole del Calore o la Forra degli Emmisi nella vicina Rofrano, e altro.. Il cibo che preparano Angelo e Donatella è a....centimetro zero, sano e semplice. E,come dice Borges,"queste persone,che si ignorano,stanno salvando il mondo"

Tempo dell Fico ligt in the middle of nowhere. Je wordt er begroet door de lieve honden en katten. Donatella en Angelo zijn goede eerlijke mensen, vriendelijk, rustig en gastvrij. Het ontbijt bestond uit zelf gebakken brood met zelfgemaakte jams en honing. We kregen een heerlijke maaltijd. Vers geplukte salade uit de groentetuin, zelfgemaakte pasta met een heerlijke saus. Verrukkelijke wijn. Het uitzicht is magnifiek en de omgeving prachtig . Voor het huisje is een terras begroeid met oregano en andere wilde kruiden. Het huisje is basic ingericht, koel, schoon en comfortabel. We vonden de prijs wat aan de hoge kant, maar kunnen dit toch van harte aanbevelen. Verwacht geen onnodige luxe., het is geen doorsnee gelikte B&B. Je doet er wel een geweldige ervaring op. De ezels kwamen ons de laatste dag nog even begroeten..

This is the perfect place for you if you are looking for one thing - AUTHENTICITY . Nothing is fake here : you drink water fresh from the source, you eat local food, wild greens, salad from the garden. You wake up to the sounds of donkeys walking around freely, in the night you sit under the Milky Way and watch hundreds of fireflies. You are surrounded by stunning nature, you can swim in cold rivers or go hiking through wild forests . The house has everything you need - nothing more nothing less. Angelo and Donatella are incredibly friendly people, who welcome you like a member of their family. If you want they‘ll teach you how to cook with local ingredients or sing traditional songs for you. My stay with them was breathtakingly beautiful. Their home is one of the rare places that can really change your perspective forever. Back to the roots, back to madre terra. Back to what is real, back to AUTHENTICITY.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The property and surrounding area are so, so beautiful and I wish we could have stayed longer. There are some beautiful walks nearby and the mountains are gorgeous. Staying with Angelo and Donatella is an experience. The bnb is separate from the house, very private, and very nicely created. Angelo and Donatella, in collaboration with their neighbours, live off the land and are extremely interesting and kind people. Highly recommended.
