We stayed there for two nights in June 2023. The location is great with fantastic views. The village is very quiet with no shops and only a basic bar but we found an excellent restaurant 3 km away. There are two bedrooms, the main one with a fairly steep staircase with very small stairs. The bedroom opens onto a roof which has fantastic views of the mountains but is a little unsafe as there are no barriers and a drop onto stone which would not make it safe for children. The second bedroom has a door that allows access to outside but would benefit from a step as it is a little high of the ground. There is a feeling that the place is a work in progress as there are clearly building works going on, although not when we were there. (There’s a cement mixer outside and materials on the roof.) The bathroom is ok but would benefit from a shower curtain. We found ourselves mopping the floor after every shower. All in all a nice place to stay but needs a few alterations to justify the price.

Casa carina e accogliente un po’ lontano dal centro considerando che bisogna scendere da due montagne. Adatta per persone che non amano la movida e che vogliono stare in tranquillità. Giorgos sempre disponibile, l’unica pecca il luogo in cui si trova la casa

Yiorgos kept in close contact. We arrived and the place was sparkling clean and lovely. It is in a very quite and semi remote village setting. It has two balconies and both with beautiful mountain view. It has large tvs, a fireplace, air conditioning throughout. There is a long oddly driveway but it’s okay.

The house is located in the mountains and offers exceptional views. It's ideal for people who would love to stay in a traditional cretan house, closed to nature, and away from the touristic 'noise'. Our family enjoyed the privacy and tranquility that surrounded us. With two little kids, the house offered us the security that we were looking for:) thank you!
