Lovely private retreat with all the facilities you could need. Excellent parking, quick access to the dunes, lovely fresh soft clean bed linen, very well equipped kitchen. Would certainly reccomend to anyone looking to escape to Findhorn. We went with our dg and Cathy gave some good dog friendly restaurant reccomendations and directed us to the nearest walkies.

Fantastic value for a great location. Cathy was the dream airbnb host - there if you need her but otherwise leaves you to enjoy your privacy. Kitchen well stocked. The place is warm. The bed is comfy. The sound of hail and rain on the tin roof is delightful. What more could you want. And like the other comments say - what a majestic tree! Also relatively easy to reach by public transport - there's a bus stop very nearby. Busses and taxis are dear though! I'd recommend getting your shopping at the bakehouse market just up the street or the phoenix shop in findhorn eco village- it's very well stocked and much more interesting than tesco or lidl.

The Boat Shed is charming, well furnished, peaceful and close from the village on foot. A magnificent Monterey pine graces the place. Cathy was very helpful to provide for all our needs. A place to come back to.
