Alberta’s place was great. Well worth a visit The market that’s was on her doorstep on Wednesday was superb. They sold everything worth a visit. Beach was great everything walking distance

Appena tornata e già mi manca, ho trascorso un mese di vacanza nella casa di Alberta e sono stata semplicemente benissimo. La casa è deliziosa, ogni angolo è una comfort zone, il giardino è un'oasi lussureggiante in tutto si percepisce la cura e l'originalità dei dettagli. In casa c'è tutto quello che può servire, la cucina è attrezzatissima, tanto spazio nel living, il mare è a due passi, sabbia finissima e acqua trasparente. Alberta e la sua famiglia sono fantastici, attenti premurosi e discreti, mi sono sentita parte della famiglia. Pescara è una bella città e io volevo viverla proprio così, da residente.

Loved the apartment. Someone’s review said that the Wednesday market was only a few steps from the apartment, they didn’t exaggerate, it’s right out the gate! The morning of the market you can hear them setting up around 6:30-7. Lots of clothing, fruit, cheeses and veggies, but one of the best things is the trucks that sell porchetta, delicious. Being Americans, we eat dinner earlier than Italians, so we decided to go out for long lunches and if still hungry in the evenings we cooked in. Alberta’s kitchen is very well equipped when it comes to cutlery especially knives—one of our pet peeves about Airbnb houses is they either lack cutting knives or they’re dull. But Alberta’s we’re perfect. Also lots of extras like olive oil, juice, salt and pepper. Lots and lots of dishes and real glass wine glasses! The one thing the kitchen could use is a microwave. Also, if you want to get a real sense of an Italian Sunday, try lunch at Grotta del Marinaio, via Bardet 6. When we went, there were two large family gathering with members from 2 to 84. We were made to feel at home and we’re even served slices of birthday cake of the 84 year old gentleman at the next table. That afternoon brought back memories of Sunday lunch at my Italian Grandparents home years ago—warmth, smiles, and excellent food.
