This cottage is on a classic Georgian bay island, with stunning sunset views, a breeze that keep all bugs away, and crystal clear water perfect for swimming. The cottage itself is pretty basic, but has very comfortable beds and bedding, and a kitchen with most things you’d need (A new coffee machine is perhaps required). The stunning views, the gorgeous water, and the impressively large peninsula that the cottage sits upon, makes up for anything it lacks. We had a similar experience as another renter with the owner’s father attending at the property to do construction work all day while we were there, but we returned to the island for a second trip once we were promised that he wouldn’t be around. The neighbours are lovely and quiet, and they have very polite and well trained dogs. All in all, we loved being here, and hope to come back next season.

Great location on Georgian Bay with fantastic sunsets seen right from the living room. Elevated nicely to help get a breeze. Nice open concept design and big wide decks for star gazing . Short boat ride to the nearest marina.

We loved staying on Georgian Bay. The two small kayaks were nice for exploring nearby islands. Sydney and her family are next door, but are a bit difficult to reach. There was a few hours of construction and maintenance on the property, daily - which did cut into privacy and relaxation. The views of the sunset made up for anything that was lacking!
