Dit huisje heeft een prachtige locatie. Het water stond een stuk hoger dan op de foto's (tot aan het huisje), maar gelukkig was er direct naast het huisje nog een stuk strand beschikbaar. We waren blij met de aanwezigheid van airco op de slaapkamers. Het huis zelf en de inrichting zijn gedateerd en missen een stuk sfeer. Wij misten ook een koffiezetapparaat, maar dat is hier misschien gebruikelijk. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De host hebben we niet ontmoet, maar hij reageerde snel op berichten. Misschien komen wij nog eens terug.

This is an historic house with a lot of character like the chateaux in the Malawian tea estates. The location is facing a high tide at the moment of writing resulting in the flooding of the sand beach you see on the pictures. The beach is under knee high water probably until October. We were able to enjoy our stay nevertheless- birdwatching right from the huge and majestic front porch.

The owner was prompt in arranging removal of two bats (one was definitely alive) from our living room. Later that day he also promptly removed a third living bat from the living room. We heard frequent bat sounds making us feel there may have been additional bats beyond the three. Fortunately we had mosquito nets to sleep under so we felt we didn’t need to get the rabies vaccine. A newly hired security guard for the Airbnb stole my husband’s action camera. The police had to break into the security guard’s house to retrieve it. The camera was eventually returned to us the next day. The beach and patio is very picturesque.

Great location, quiet beach and lovely host. The only downside was the entertainment, TV was the old vintage one which as soccer fans and video game fanatics, didn't work for us.
