Douglas met us at arrival in the midst of a heavy rainstorm and offered to help us unload the car. The location is in a nice area. However, in the shower it was difficult to adjust the temperature. We did manage and Douglas sent us a Youtube video on how to use it the following morning, which leaves me feeling that they could hear our conversation through the walls. Parking was a bit difficult due to overgrown hedges and close proximity to a fire hydrant. Coffee provided was old & stale in a coffee can with the scooper lying inside, so I had to find a coffee place to get my morning coffee. Outside there was a small sitting area; however, there were spider webs on the chairs and they were rusty and one chair has a hole in it so it was not inviting at all. After staying at numerous SuperHost accommodations previously, we don't feel Douglas's place is up to SuperHost standards.
My husband and I like to hike Oats Peak in Montaña de Oro State Park. Douglas’s place was a super convenient place to stay as it was so close to both the park for hiking and the town for coffee/eats. I can’t emphasize enough how peaceful this area is, and our stay was so quiet and comfortable I would definitely book again. Also a great bonus to have a private entrance and a super communicative host.
Location was convenient to shopping areas in Los Osos and near friends I was visiting. The entire experience from Doug and his hosts was easy and convenient.
Would come back again! Highly recommend. Very convenient and private.

I am a self employed digital marketer who runs a marketing agency. I love showing my friends and guests the wonderful Central Coast area, especially first timers. I am very activity driven, and love doing action sports outside. I love to ski and surf. All within a 1 mile radius, we have surfing, skateparks, mountain bike trails, and hiking trails. I want my guests to experience all of the wonderful indoor and outdoor activities here on the Central Coast. I hope I can point you in the right direction. Whether it be surfing, mountain biking, coastal touring, wine tasting, or simply the best place to grab a bite and a beer.
