Rodney’s place was great! We enjoyed our time at his beautiful cabin, the scenery was great and Rodney was a very responsive host who gave us great recommendations and was very hospitable. Will definitely try and get back soon!
This is such a unique and lovely little place! The inside is cozy and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The views of the lake from every window of the house are beautiful and it’s very unique being on your own little island! Due to bad weather we couldn’t enjoy the outside, but would love to come back again when the weather is better! Rodney is a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate with and checked on us often due to the extreme weather we were experiencing to make sure we were ok. I would definitely recommend this air bnb. It exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful experience!
I have stayed in many Airbnb's over the years, and The Paddle Inn is definitely in my top 2! I had booked over a year in advance to stay during the total eclipse of 2024 (the cabin was in the path of totality). As soon as I saw the listing I knew it would be perfect. Even if the weather didn't work out, I knew we would be happy to be there anyway - and we absolutely were! Unfortunately we had complete cloud cover so we didn't have the full experience of the eclipse, but we had no regrets traveling 7 hours to be there. The Paddle Inn is so adorable and tranquil, it felt like home. Rodney left us a bottle of wine, fixings for s'mores over the fire, and even glasses for the eclipse! Everything was perfect, no complaints.
Extremely peaceful place to stay. the space is perfect for a couple trying to escape while still having connection if need be. sitting on the deck looking over the water you could imagine you were in the ADK but without the hassle. lake system is a great kayak. Plenty of food options nearby in Fredonia.

My wife Lisa & I have lived in Cassadaga for the past 24 years. Regrettably my wife passed away in April 2024. I grew up in the Village then spent 11 years in the US Air Force before settling back in Cassadaga. I retired from the US Air Force Reserves in May 2019 and continue to practice as an endodontist in Jamestown. We have enjoyed being able to share our beautiful island and cabin with our guests and I look forward to continuing to share.
