Mario and Jorge were great hosts. Their place is beautiful, tucked into the mountains and a short walk from town. Mario was quick to respond and very helpful with tips for what to do in town. Mario walked with our group, giving us the history of his home and town. He showed us where to eat and where to hike. Breakfast was set each morning in the courtyard and they organized some local food for us as well. Mario gave us a tour of his brewery and some of his own beer, and capped it off with some magic tricks. Overall a great place to stay and great hosts.

I’ve stayed in Bolivia for a month and lots of Airbnb accommodation are great but no host can be compared to Mario’s hospitality! He really went out of the way to help me enjoy the stay in Tupiza. For example, when I couldn’t find a private car from Tarija. Messaging Mario and within an hour the car was arranged for the next morning with half a price those agents in Tarija could offer. Then he helped me book the tour to Uyuni with the best agent in town. However, the best thing was the mini-tour he gave me before he picked up his kids. Without Mario, I wouldn’t have tried the tasty tamales in the market. The room in his casa was clean and quiet. Highly recommended to stay in this Airbnb.

Mario et Monica sont très attentifs au bien être de leurs hôtes. Mario nous a fait visiter Tupiza. Il nous a recommandé une agence pour un tour à Uyuni, contacté et réservé un tour à cheval. Monica a organisé un cours privé de yoga sur place. La maison est située dans un superbe cadre. La chambre est confortable bien qu'un peu sombre mais on peut profiter de l'extérieur et du patio. Bref que du positif. Nous recommandons chaleureusement. Petit + très appréciable, Mario parle français et aime partager :)

What a great place to stay!! Tupiza is a beautiful little city surrounded by incredible views and wilderness. The accomodations were incredible and the hosts really took care of everything for me. They all went out if their way to make me feel comfortable. They make a great breakfast and if you would like much or dinner - they can prepare an excellent meal for you as well. The area where the accomodations is located has a history and Mario will be more than happy to share it with you! Highly recommend this airbnb to you when you make your way to Tupiza!
