Underwhelming experience. Listing is not accurate, the property is not a 4 bedroom 4bath bungalow by any stretch of imagination, beds in dining rooms and storage rooms with overhead sheets don't make them bedrooms. We had 7 adults and while booking ,the listing never mentioned that there is restricted access to the place if less than 10 people book which we were informed later. It constantly smells of a gas leak at the back, we were told not to worry when we informed the hosts, however it is not easy to ignore as it feels almost hazardous. The food was mediocre to say the least, there are no restaurants in the vicinity, the property doesn't even have bare minimum cutlery so that we can bring any food home for dinner. Wifi is barely functional, with no telephone network coverage, any considerate host would fix the wifi issues for their guest. There are stray dogs around, while I love dogs, incessant howling at night along with the beeping power back up made it hard to sleep at night.

Let me start with positives. Location of this property is very good, away from all the buzzing town in a calm and serene environment. Ideal for a digital detox as there is hardly any network apart from Jio (that too only for voice most of the time) I like the minimalistic kind of food, and few dishes are good. This place is descent enough for one family, but great for group of bachelors as lot of mattresses to utilise. As this is in a remote place, power outages were very common. But, there is a good backup. Let me list the negatives, and it is purely from my experience. The property is listed as 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom. The reality is that only 2 are proper bedrooms, with one bedroom has an attached bathroom, which has an entrance to the common area also. Need to be careful as the guests need to manage the 2 doors for the same bathroom. Third bedroom is a makeshift arrangement as they converted the dining room to bedroom, and hence there are NO DOORS and no privacy. The ONLY wash basin is in that bedroom as it was designed as a dining space earlier. Now coming to 2 other bathrooms in the property description....both of these are outside the property, and one is a toilet and other is a bathroom. This is very difficult to access in the night time. Kitchen has not got anything(apart from a refrigerator) as guests are not suppose to do anything. Even there is no provision to have warm water. (You can request host to bring it though) Challenge in Communication: It is very difficult to communicate to the host unless one of the guest has a phone with Jio network. There is a Jio hotspot within the property, but the data network is mostly weak or inexistent. Another observation is that there are many lizards in and out of this place, and if anyone is not comfortable with that, please avoid. Both bathrooms have gas-fitted geysers which are working efficiently, but you need to get used to that. I strongly suggest the Host to make these aspects very clear within the property description, if not, please communicate to the guests for them to make necessary arrangements including looking for another property if they have a choice.

Sanjay has been a great host. The place is good. Sanjay was available whenever required. Few words of caution... none of the mobile networks work except Jio. There are chances for extended power cut as the location is remote. They do have UPS but there is a possibility for extended power cut and UPS power source can run out. It is not something Sanjay can control.
