I stayed about a week at Anna's place and had a great time. It's located right on a tributary to the Sierpe river, with a private dock, and the wildlife viewing was amazing. I saw white-faced monkeys in a tree right outside the window, iguanas, and many interesting birds. The entire upper flat is included, and it's very light and pleasant. It took me a little while to figure out the front door, and the wifi on the website was not accurate, but Anna helped me sort those out very quickly. Also, the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The refrigerator and freezer were not as cold as normal, but it was adequate for me. I would definitely stay there again.

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet, das Haus in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben den Aussen-Tisch vermisst, um auf der Terrasse zu essen. Die Vermieterin hat nicht auf unsere Frage diesbezüglich reagiert. Wir hatten am ersten Abend einen Strom- und Wasserausfall. Da die Vermieterin in Afrika lebt, konnten wir sie akut nicht erreichen. Es war leider auch kein Kontakt vorhanden von einer Person vor Ort, die uns hätte helfen können. In der Wohnung wurde es so heiss, dass der Schweiss nur so runterlief und wir kaum schlafen konnten. Am nächsten Morgen wurde das Problem behoben. Diese Nacht hat uns die Vermieterin auf unsere Bitte hin rückvergütet. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir Fotos von einem Wasserschaden an die Vermieterin geschickt. Am Folgetag hat sich jemand darum gekümmert. In der letzten Nacht drückte das Wasser jedoch durch die Wände in beide Bäder, so dass wir alle Badetücher auf den Böden ausgebreitet haben, um das Wasser zu sammeln und in der Dusche die Tücher auszuwringen.

There was a glitch with air conditioning when we arrived but it was corrected and was a consequence of the location - an animal had chewed through the cable of one of air conditioning units. This was not something attributable to owner negligence - gotta expect some jungle experiences in the jungle! The house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped and I have already recommended it to another friend. We have some friends who have issues going up & down stairs - we wouldn't recommend this home for them, but for others looking for a retreat surrounded by diverse nature, it's a winner.

El lugar es bastante hermoso, el rio y la naturaleza le dan un plus muy valioso. Vimos muchísimos animales alrededor. Las personas encargadas de cuidar la propiedad fueron extremadamente amables y serviciales.

The listing's photos do not accurately represent the condition or current furnishing of the property. Piles of excrement and dead insects discovered in showers. Wall-sections of master shower missing tiles. Dining chairs thick with spider webs. Master bedroom air conditioning unit (mini-split) blows hot air... Originally booked for three nights. We arrived too late on the first night to find an alternative place to stay. We left first thing in the morning, knowing full well the booking was non-refundable. Oh, and the host was nice enough to leave a book on witchcraft on prominent display. So, if I go missing.... :-\ ATTN: NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING
